Below is a list of the stolen certs.

Amongst them are a number that are NOT valid domains which are being talked about as calling cards from the hackers. Written in Farsi they are hard to translate directly, but in the comments from the first link they are described as [By ioerror himself via an anonamous Farsi speaker]:

“RamzShekaneBozorg” is “great cracker”
“Hameyeh Ramzaro Mishkanam” translates to “I will crack all encryption”
“Sare Toro Ham Mishkanam” translates to “i hate/break your head”

and then in the comments by another anon as:

Sahebeh Donya => Possessor of the World e.g. God.
Sarbazeh Gomnam => Unknown Soldier
Elme Bikaran => Science/Knowledge of the idle/unemployed
Daneshmande Bi nazir => Peerless Scientist
RamzShekaneBozorg => Great Cryptanalyst
Toro Ham Mishkanam => I will breakTOR too
Hameye Ramzaro Mishkanam => Will break all cyphers

Possible ‘i dun it’ paste from the hacker/culprit known as ComodoHacker. Unproven, but shows a large amount of knowledge on the subject.

[update] A few more posts have appeared on his/her account on pastebin. He is also responsible for the Comodo CA hack [detailed here https://blog.torproject.org/blog/detecting-certificate-authority-compromises-and-web-browser-collusion] so its more likely that he was the hacker of DN. Hes posted a PoC im looking over atm.

This is quite a scary situation, and really should be dumbed down and presented to the less tech savy to convey that sites such as google and facebook [even govt sites like the cia] ARE susceptible to attack – even if its not the companies fault [in this case it was DigiNotars].

Libya – on the road to freedom.

Its a great day for those living in Libya today, as iv been watching this event fairly closely i feel some level of attachment to the people involved. I know nearly no one will see this, i guess its more for myself but id like to acknowledge all the lives lost in this atrocious event. Many many men women and children have died or put themselves at great risk to free their nation, and it has paid off. My heart goes out to all those who have been affected. And i, as a fellow human being, am proud of those who fought so courageously for their rights. No man, woman or child should be subjected to the violations the Gaddafi regime imposed.

If anyone reads this who is in anyway involved, keep safe, keep fighting the good fight – im thinking of you.

BNE Water – good the fuck on him!

BNE – renown as one of the more ‘up’ vandals out there in the world – has started a project to help bring clean water to people living in poverty around the world. This is from his site:

“…a global movement dedicated to bringing
clean, safe water, and sanitation to people living
in extreme poverty. About one billion people
right now do not have access to clean drinking
water. 42,000 people die every week due to
unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions.
90% of these deaths are children under five
years old. It’s unconscionable that we allow this
to go on. Join us and be part of the solution.”
